Very good historical fiction. Great characters and story.A classic story of medieval Britain with Llewellyn of Wales trying to consolidate his kingdom against the plots of Henry VIII. Complicated intrigues, often brother against brother, oaths of loyalty broken. A good read but had some difficulty dealing with the tongue twisting Welsh names.

If I could have I would have given it 3 1/2. I'm enjoying the series and will keep reading.
