Chronicle Concering Books Battle of the Sexes (Imperfect Love Kindle World)

Carver Jones’ partner at Jones + Gallum had to step down for medical reasons. He’s absolutely devastated. He swears. Just ignore his cheeky grin, okay?

When word reaches his fancy corner office that Gallum is replacing himself with his daughter, Amity, Carver is ecstatic.

For real this time.

Jones squashes men in the business industry flat. A woman? Pfst. He’ll be completely in charge in no time, doing whatever he wants. He’s so ready for this.

But is he ready to fight the hardest fight of his life? No, not the one to maintain control of his company. The one to keep control of his heart.

The battle may begin in the boardroom, but the war will definitely be won in the bedroom. May the best sex win.

I enjoyed reading this one so much. :)

3 stars! As much as I really enjoyed the previous books in this series, this one could be listed as an Ok read. Everything was going great with the battle of wills the banter and the hating game until it wasn't. The story was rushed to an end and the change from haters to lovers wasn't convincing at all. And I must admit that the epilogue unfortunately killed my vide and was responsible for the 3 stars rating.

Let's face it, an alpha male always draws us to read a book or series, right? Well, there is no denying that Carver is a SEXY, COCKY, Alpha male. But, what drew me to this book was something a little different, or should I say someone, Amity Gallum. Amity, is THE definition of Alpha Female. Adriana took her character to a different level and she is, in my opinion, one of Adriana's most fun female characters to read. Now, put Carver & Amity together and you have a book that is Amazing, FUN to

4.5 'I dare you' Stars!I can't believe this is my first time reading anything by Adriana Locke! Man, I just fell in love! I know many of my blogger friends love this woman's writing and now I understand why. Battle of the Sexes was the perfect way to "meet" and fall in love with Locke's creations. This short story was entertaining, funny, sexy as hell and it even got really emotional towards the end. It had everything that I enjoy in a good quick love story! I can't wait to read more of

4.5 stars This was a fun and sexy enemies to lovers novella! It had all the wit, humor, and steam that I love so much about all of Adriana Locke's books. I really enjoyed the playful innuendo and the build up of sexual tension between Amity and Carver. Although they were both intelligent and driven, they both also had underlying vulnerabilities and fears that influenced their lives. I definitely wished this was longer and was sad to say goodbye to these characters. The epilogue was perfectly

***4~4.5 stars*** The chemistry between Carver and Amity sizzles through the pages of this book. I liked that they were childhood friends/enemies, so it gave a lot of depth to their relationship. In fact this book had me guessing of the outcome right until the end. The story is fun, sweet, touching, hilariously cute! The relationship between the H and h is entertaining, believable and goes through a natural transition that never feels forced. The sarcasm between them is really entertaining, the

Battle of the Sexes is a novella included in the Imperfect Love Kindle World Series. It is a standalone but I did recognize a few of the characters from another series that's included in the bundle. Anyway...I have read all of Adriana's books so I knew I had to get my hands on this sexiness of a book. I mean...look at that cover. You can feel the sexual tension. One woman. One man. Two families. One CEO position. Carver and Amity might have grown up together but it has been over a decade since
