Explanation To Books Everybody Knows (Razes Hell #2)

Lucy Hayes has been in love with Razes Hell’s frontman, Jason Brooks, for as long as she can remember. While most women see him only as a rock god, Lucy sees the real Jason. But will that be enough to make him see her as the adult she is, or is she destined to remain the baby sister of his best friend forever?

When Lucy bags an invite to join Razes Hell on their Europe and U.S tour, she is under no illusions about where she fits in Jason’s life. She’s the girl next door, too young to ever catch his attention. However, when Lucy is the first to notice Jason’s struggle to keep his cocaine addiction in check while out on the road, the pair grow closer, and Lucy thinks she might be about to make her dreams come true.

But how can it ever work out? With an age gap against them, not to mention concerned family and friends stating their opinions, and the media turning something beautiful into something sinister, they are fighting an impossible battle.

Everybody Knows there’s something between Lucy and Jason, but will their feelings be enough to keep them afloat, or will their feelings tear apart everything they hold dear?

A beautifully written story of a young woman trying to find her place and her voice within her family and friends. Her fight to be allowed to do what she wants, and, more importantly, be with who she wants. This story is touching and heartfelt. Despite their backgrounds, the relationship between Jason and Lucy felt believable to me. The restrained behaviour. The tentative hope for more. This is not an exuberant, shout it from the rooftops, type of story. This is quiet, subtle, seductive. I loved

This is the second book in the Raze Hills series.... the book focuses Lucy and her relationship with the band, mainly how she feels about her sisters best friend and Raze Hills lead singer Jason Brookes.....So many emotions in this story for Jason and Lucy and for Drew and Ellie who we met in the first book, twists and turns kept me gripped from the first chapter!I hope one day we hear more from Drew, Ellie, Lucy and Jason (although Lucy and Jason both appear in the Chaos and Consent books also

Disclaimer: This book was sent to me by the author, Kyra Lennon, for an honest review. This is book 2 in the Razes Hell series by Kyra Lennon, and it is GREAT! After reading book 1, Nobody Knows, I wasnt sure if I was going to really enjoy reading book 2. After book 1 centering around Ellie Hayes (the best friend of the lead singer and drummer of the band Razes Hell) and her blooming relationship with her best friend Drew, I wasnt quite sure if Everybody Knows was going to center around Ellie

This story is something of a hidden gem. I don't promote it often as it's a sequel, even though it can, in fact, be read as a standalone!Lucy is the sweetest thing ever - I loved writing about her and her first foray into the crazy world of fame and relationships. And Jason - he was an absolute dream to write because, let's face it, who doesn't love a tortured hero?! ;)

11/02/15: Read the epilogue to Every Body Knows last night. This story is as amazing, if not more, than the first one. Kyra's Game On series has as special place in my heart, but EK could actually be my favourite of her books. Jason Brooks is my new book boyfriend!11/24/15: I'm going to try and not make this review all about how amazing Jason Brooks is. I don't know if I'll succeed.Fangirling aside, sequels are often tricky business, and especially with books as magical as Nobody Knows is. But

Lucy has the opportunity to tour with the band (Old friends). She is now old enough to look after herself even though her family worry about her. The leading man of the band is Lucy's long term crush. Jason has his own problems. He knows his life isn't filled with hard choices. He never thought he would have the chance to be loved by someone like lucy. She could be the one to save him.I like this author and this was an interesting read. Love isn't smooth sailing and if you can save the person
