Commentary As Books Demon (The Fallen #2)

Once the Fallen's fearless ruler, a grieving Azazel must find the legendary siren meant to take his lost lover's place... and kill her.

He's a devil of an angel.

Azazel should have extinguished the deadly Lilith when he had the chance. Now, faced with a prophecy that will force him to betray the memory of his one true love and wed the Demon Queen, he cannot end her life until she leads him to Lucifer. Finding the First is the Fallen's only hope for protecting mankind from Uriel's destruction, but Azazel knows that ignoring his simmering desire for the Lilith will be almost as impossible.

She's an angel of a demon.

Rachel Fitzpatrick wonders how Azazel could confuse her with an evil seductress. She's never even been interested in sex! At least not before she set eyes on her breathtaking captor. And now she can't think about anything else;besides escape.

Angels and demons don't mix.

Rachel stirs a carnal need in Azazel that he never thought he'd feel again. Falling for a demon - even if she has no idea she's the Lilith - means surrendering his very soul. But if he lets her go, he risks abandoning his heart, his dangerous lover, and possibly all of humanity, to Uriel's deadly wrath.

Discuss Of Books Demon (The Fallen #2)
I'm so, so disappointed with this one. I love Anne Stuart's novels with a fierceness, so I knew I'd have to read her paranormal romances under the pen name Kristina Douglas. I'd read Raziel, and enjoyed it, but this one? *sigh*There was such potential, but it just fell flat. There was the enemies to lovers thing, the angst of amnesia and possibly a misunderstood demon heroine, and of course, the trademark Big Betrayal by the hero. But.... (view spoiler)[Rachel got over everything insanely fast.

I loved this one! Once again the female characters are amazing and Azazel I could of throttled to death so many times, what a jerk! She had a horrible curse and it was so sad what all Rachel had to go through but FINALLY he pulled his head out of his ars and figured it out and it was glorious!

Outstanding. Cannot believe I didn't jump on this when it first came out. Anne Stuart signatures plus sex to the nth power. The H hated...hated the h. And then he didn't. The H was a bad guy...and so was the h in her twisted path. Just damn good. Cried throughout. I don't even like angel themed stories...even The Warden couldn't get me hooked with her series. But Anne...damn.

(3 1/2 Stars)I'm not sure what possessed me to read this book in its entirety. A fast read no-doubt, but I'm still unsure if I even liked this book. After enjoying the first book, I thought the follow-up would be decent as well. Well, I was wrong. The writing and worldbuilding was fine enough, it was the main couple's relationship that disturbed me. The male protagonist goes beyond acting cool & indifferent, when an unwelcome attraction begins to bloom towards the demon he's been tracking.

Really looking forwards towards it....

This was one of those books I found hard to rate. I wavered between giving it 3 or 4 stars because I had mixed feelings about it.Ive always loved reading Anne Stuarts romantic suspense stories. And as her fan, when I found The Fallen series written under the pseudonym Kristina Douglas, I knew I would never miss a chance to read her paranormal romance ones as well. Demon is the second installment in The Fallen series, a decent story of Azazel, the fallen angel, and Lilith, the demon.I will not go

I was more impressed with this one than the first book in the series. I am busy catching up after company, so my reading is slow! I could have finished this in a couple days. It was about 400 pages. Unfortunately my reading time slacked off, so it took twice as long! LOL!!Like many of the other reviews, this book wasn't very good until about 150 pages in or so. For the first 150 pages, they were in the dark world geez! I lost the name. Anyway, everyone but them lacked color. Rachel does not
