Attack of the BULLIES (NERDS #5)
This was a great series for middle-graders or read aloud for intermediate students. It ended with a bang with a favorite character turning bad, a bad-guy turning good, time travel, and a group of detention thugs getting crazy upgrades! Don't miss out."The grand finale to the New York Times bestselling series, Attack of the BULLIES stars Ruby Peet, aka Agent Pufferfish, the team captain with super nanobyte-enhanced allergies. I love this series and this author, but the last book's ending disappointed me. It honestly wasn't that bad, it just didn't live up to my expectations after reading his other series, "The Sisters Grimm". It's been a few years since I've read this, so I'm not the most accurate judge, but I would give this maybe a 3.7 stars, which, I know rounds up to four, but, it isn't quite there in my opinion. I don't really remember the names or the details but the main reason it loses stars is because I was

Very action-oriented as usual but the character development and overriding themes were much stronger in this entry in the series. There is a definite message about bullying and becoming empowered against them. Also included is the idea of changing your life and how you may have the ability to make a single decision that will influence the course of the rest of your life. A really strong and surprising element of the story is the love of and need for families--two characters grapple with the loss
A funny adventure that teaches about physics and standing up to bullies.
It was a great book and i recommend itI really enjoyed it and like the other books in the series and is funny from start to finishNo matter how old or young
Great ending to the series I love itFollow my other reports on nerds!

I enjoyed how the NERDS team from the 21st century teamed up with the first NERDS team and how you got to meet Beanpole. ;) It was also a good way to end the series with a bang. It bothered me how fast Heathcliff went from being a good guy to wanting to take over the world to being a good guy again. I felt like it was too rushed. Ms. Holiday being the villain was also a fascinating concept. I also liked how the BULLIES was basically a bad guy version of the NERDS. I didn't really like how Ms.This was a great series for middle-graders or read aloud for intermediate students.
