The immortal Seraphina is forced to face the darkness of her past—and risk losing the love of her life—in this second novel in the Incarnation series.

Seraphina has been living for centuries, thanks to a special method of alchemy, but only recently has she really felt alive. She’s finally broken free from her controlling boyfriend, Cyrus, and after years of swapping bodies to preserve her immortality, is happily settled into a life worth sticking with. Because in this life, she has Noah.

But Noah might not be as trustworthy as he seems. After he delivers an ominous message that could only come from Cyrus, Sera is worried that her new friends and family will find out her secret. And as her suspicions extend beyond Noah, Sera is forced to wonder about her new friends as well: Could her old coven be disguising themselves right under her nose?

Will Sera have to move to another body—and take another life—or can she find a way to keep what she’s got, forever?

Crit Of Books The Impossibility of Tomorrow (Incarnation #2)
A heart touching novel describing the endurance of unconditional love against all circumstances, even against time.

I loved the first, and was so happy to read this one after. This end of the series really did wrap up quite nicely. I found that at the end I had been so caught up in the characters that I did in fact cry.

After reading the first story "The Alchemy of Forever", I just had to read the sequel, and am I glad I did.Loved the story and it kept me guessing on who was who. I didn't expect the story to happen the way it did, but enjoyed it nevertheless. Would love to read an (Incarnation, #3). Great series!

It kinda reminds me of My Name Is Memory... How I wish there'll be a book three or maybe Ms. Williams got into another body like her Incarnates?

It has been quite a long time since I have read the first book. So it took time for me to get reacquainted again with some of the characters. However, this one pick up where it left off and I like Sera I was dreading if Cyrus has gotten to Noah like i feared. I must say this one had me guessing a lot of times who's body that Cyrus have taken over. The author did a brilliant job in keeping that mystery till the end. She had me fooled like Cyrus almost fooled Sera in killing Noah. I also wish that
