Loved this book as a child. Used to read it all the time.Read it again as a grown-up recently. It obviously is a childrens book, but it remains a beautiful story that makes me want to travel the world.

Albeit oversimple at times, Die Reise zur Wunderinsel is a cute, nice children tale that... I'm not going to rate because honestly? I don't think that my slugglish reading pace affords me to : at this point, I'm in no way able to judge the writing style/the story itself, MANY subtleties surely go over my head, BUT I'm still immensely happy to have finished my first German novel in 12 years.
