In this collection we meet chloe and watch her life being distroyed before we even know her. When she meets the old man and makes a vow to herself to kill Trevior its very emotional. Once she makes the commitment to be the best after encountering her first vampire in a fight you know that the game is on.
Love this series so far. Jennifer beings her characters to life and hooks you with the first chapter. A must read for anyone of any age.

Wright sent me the whole series at once, but I love the idea of publishing a book bit by bit its a nice little reminder of the days when authors published things piecemeal in magazines.
