Some manga sag interminably. Black Butler could be endanger of doing so, but it's just so darn fun! Toboso-sensei's art just gets better and better, and the characters more interesting. It is a joy to see how dreadful Sebastian and Ciel can be toward each other, and how almost villainous they can get together. I have quite enjoyed their excursion into Germany, and I've also enjoyed the new characters. And I can't wait to see what happens next.

Love Finny on the cover....he's adorable 🐦

Ciels state of mental instability comes to a climax with a decision from Queen Victoria, a visit from her messenger to the village of Wolfsschlulct and Sebastian deciding to take matters into his own hands. This leaves Ciel forced to make a choice, deep within his subconscious mind. Sullivan also finds herself forced to make a choice when she accomplishes one of her duties as the Emerald Witch, only to face the truth behind her village, her role as witch, and the life shes lived there. Some of

I loved that we go to learn more about the wolfman and the village. I was so glad that we were able to get a background story of the Emerald Witch. Overall this was a fantastic addition to the series and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Holy buckets,! I was not expecting that twist!! Here I thought the story was a traditional werewolf tale, but boy was I wrong. This book turned the whole, werewolf, witch, forest idea upside down on its head, exposing the true themes and motives behind the small little village.I dont really understand (without giving up too much of the storyline) what Sebastian and Ciel found in the basement and I felt as if the story leapt from A to B quite fast, with an outcome that seemed a bit of a stretch,

Another great volume by Yana Toboso. In this one the young Earl has been cured for his darkened vision/blindness. The Emerald witch unfortunately has learned that she has been deceived by everyone around her as they only used her so she can create a poisonous substance that would kill people

THE GOOD Ciel: Oh boy! Ciel's internal struggle as he tries to find himself again was extremely well done! He's finally realized that it's not his parents he's trying to get justice for - it's for himself. That may seems selfish, but.... he is a child, and children are selfish by nature. Sebastian: Watching him snap Ciel out of it was a fun read - though he's probably disappointed that he didn't get to have his meal.Sullivan: Okay, now I officially feel bad for this little girl. She's a very
