I won this book in a first read giveaway and was excited to read it. It's a story about a young girl who loses her mother which results in her father becoming an alcoholic and how this "abandonment" affects her future relationships. She travels down a rough road and just when you think she's going to live happily ever after..she doesn't. This book is not for the faint of heart. This book was awesome! When I got to the end, it made me stop and think about what I just read! SHOCKER!! Yes, I guess I am an Emotional Prostitute after all.....Who would have thought?!
Read a few pages.

JT "FIRE" MONTGOMERY WROTE THIS ON AMAZON'S REVIEW"A cross between chic lit and erotica, this novel is creatively written. I read this book in a total of 3 days, and that's unusual for me to do, as I have a habit of setting down a book for more than a few weeks at a time. The story was very engaging, especially around pages 80 - 100 [I won't spoil it]. The term "emotional prostitute" is very catchy and after reading the ENTIRE novel, I realized that I could relate to the character in more ways
My Review: First, for some strange reason, I thought the book was a memoir. Hence, I was dumbfounded when I got to the last two pages. My heart almost stopped beating. Reading the book as a memoir, I was left thinking how absolutely candid and brave the author was in revealing her story. Even as I came to the realization that the book was fiction, my thoughts did not change. The books back cover states: By the end of the novel, you will discover one of two facts: 1) You KNOW an emotional
Omg.. Where to begin? I thought it was a memoir at first. This is really touching and beautiful. I cried and laughed during the whole thing. I can't believe it ended the way that it did. Kind of disappointed. Story of a girl who seemed to have everything. She had a great connection with her mother then her mother went on "a business trip." Her father came home drunk one night and she soon found out everything was going to change from here on out. In the middle of all this Lilah finds out shes
I highly recommend this book for anyone FTC: I received a free copy of this book and was not reimbursed in any other way.
