New World, book five in the Broken World series, continues following a group of survivors after a super-virus has decimated the human race and the dead have come back to claim it as their own...

After weeks on the road and devastating losses, the survivors have finally found safety. But as winter falls on Colorado, it brings with it both new challenges, and new hope.

Axl and Vivian

With supplies running low and animals scarce, not even the freezing zombies do much to make the future look bright for Axl’s group. As the snow grows deeper, Vivian’s concern for Hadley and Jon only becomes more intense. Each day seems to bring more challenges, and every week that passes with no sign of their friends makes it more difficult for the group to believe life can ever return to normal.

Jon and Ginny

Hope Springs is an opportunity to start over for Ginny and Jon. Even though their worries for their lost friends are never completely gone, the couple throws themselves into building a new world for their baby. Crit Of Books New World (Broken World #5)
great

DevastatedThis series could have been so much better with a little hope. Is that what it takes to write a zombie apocalypse book? I sure hope not. I want to rate this book lower but I couldnt put it down. I have to get the author her due. Love those country boys including Angus. Smh

This series is masterly amazing. This series I could not put down. I am not really the type to write a review but I had to. Ms. Mary has put a lot of effort in the characters. It is not the type of feel me good or all the characters never dies. I loved the ups and downs. I loved the flow of the story as it goes. I could not put the books down. I read all five books within 4 days. Ms Mary has really out done herself. She really brought me into the story like I am right there with them. I feel like

This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life in Books.I really enjoyed this one! I have been having such a good time with this series and am so glad that I happened upon it. This book is the fifth book in the Broken World series which really does need to be read in order since each book picks up right where the previous one left off. At this point, I really feel like I know all of these characters and am eager to see them survive in their harsh world. This book was just a really great

I found this book to be a "go between" between the last book and the next in the series. We don't get many visits from the Zoms since it's winter and I think most of this is leading up to the next book. There are some deaths of key playersBuild Up... are the best words I can think of to describe this bookTold from Axl, Vivian, Ginny and Jon POV's

I really loved Jon and Ginny's storyline, and I've grown to love Angus. I wish there wasn't such a major cliffie though...that's a bummer!

The story continuesAnother great book in the series can't wait to read book 6.Love zombie survival books that show the human side of things
